Holy Deacons

by Jim Fuller

Being a deacon is about far more than checking off the biblical qualifications—it's a calling to serve in a higher capacity. In The Holy Deacon: Exemplifying the True Measure of Excellence, Jim Fuller draws on over 45 years of church board experience to show what sets a holy deacon apart from those who simply hold a position.

Too many churches assume that qualified men will automatically become effective deacons, yet offer no training or guidelines—then wonder why their boards struggle. Just as no school or business would let someone lead without preparation, churches need a plan for developing the deacons who serve them.

Whether you're a pastor equipping your board or a deacon wanting to serve more faithfully, The Holy Deacon provides the tools to become a great deacon—one used for the Kingdom of God.
