CompaCare® Volunteer Manual

There is only one solution to the foster care crisis: the Church of Jesus Christ. When the local church provides two family advocates and fifteen volunteers to support foster families, research has shown that we're able to increase placement stability significantly. This manual explains the philosophy of CompaCare; the role of volunteers, family advocates, and foster families; and provides job descriptions and qualifications for volunteers.
